Order number in details of transactions stripe checkout was created by coopweb
Hi,
I’d like to know—if it’s already possible—how to retrieve the order code from the Stripe transaction details.
Currently, only the transaction ID is visible, making them difficult to look up, since the order number only appears as the purchased product after clicking on the transaction.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
At the moment the order number is sent to Stripe in two places: as the name of the line item (which is why you see it once you open the transaction) and in the Checkout Session metadata. Stripe does not show either of those on the payment row in the Payments list, so there you only see Stripe's own transaction ID.
To have the order number directly in the transaction details, it has to be set on the payment itself (the PaymentIntent description and metadata), which Stripe displays in the payment view and lets you search on. That is not configurable in the current version.
We've worked on this today following your message and just released a new version of the plugin.
Download it and install it on your website and new payments should now have it.
