error uploading shop component

I have received an error uploading the component...

* JFolder::files: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
* JFolder::folder: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
* JFolder::files: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
* Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.

Could you give more information on the problem ?
What version of HikaShop are you installing ? What version of Joomla are you using ? What is your hosting ?
Are you able to install other components ?
Could you give us a back end access to your website so that we can check it out as we are not able to reproduce that problem on our end ?

Hi, I get the above too... using 1.5.25 and other components do install... about to try a manual install.

Manual install worked.

Unzip the component and then upload it to /httpdocs/tmp/hikashop

In the Extension manager, under the install tab, enter /var/www/vhosts/rosmini.school.nz/httpdocs/tmp/hikashop (or something similar depending on your host) into the install directory field and then hit the corresponding install button
