Checkout menu item unusual display

I have a user menu with the checkout as one of the menu items. When there is something in the cart it displays the cart contents correctly but if the cart is empty it displays the empty cart message but displays 'Categories' below that. Should it not just dispaly the empty cart message on its own.

I can't see where its getting the 'Categories' from. Any help apreciated.

You need to specify a URL in the option "URL where to redirect when the cart is empty"

It might be worth considering that if this field is empty that it returns nothing except the 'Empty Cart' message

When the field is empty, it returns to the listing of products by defaults. It's just that you don't have any products directly in the "product category" category that you renamed "categories".
