Discount Error

I currently have 2 discounts, one coupon and one 25% off discount that is supposed to be for today only. However, I cannot select more then one product to give this 25% discount to. So, I tried to create a new discount but every time I try it just says error saving and noting else.

What is going on? I really need these up today!

You can only attach one product to one discount.
If you want to have a discount for several products, you should create one category that you will unpublish, attach that category to all the products which need it and then create one discount for that category and all the products with that category attached will get the discount.

This isn't the problem. I was just trying to create a new discount entirely and it wont let me. I have a coupon and a discount and it won't let me do anything else.
