Coupon Discount is ADDED to Taxes ?!

I just installed Hikashop on joomla 1.7.

When adding a coupon code (percent or amount), this coupon value is ADDED to the taxes --> the Final Total never changes.

Anyone who knows where the problem might be?

There are two options which control the relation of the coupon to the taxes:
First, in the coupon itself, you can select whether or not to apply a tax category.
Second, in the configuration, the "discount applied" before/after taxes option.
By changing these options you should have what you want.

I tested these options already. It changes the way coupon amount is calculated, but the problem is really:
the exact amount of the coupon (for example 2 euro) is added to the Taxes ( so the taxes are calculated normally + 2 euro). Final amount is always the same (5 %, 5 euro coupon,...)

I just tried on one of our test websites and I don't have your problem. I see this:

Total
8,26 EUR €
Coupon -0,50 EUR €
Shipping 2,50 EUR €
Taxes 1,65 EUR €
Final total 12,00 EUR €

Which is what you want.
The discounts are applied before taxes and there is no tax category selected for the coupon.

Also, if you didn't download the installation package this past week (although it seems you did) you should redownload it from our website and install over your version as we made some corrections to the coupon calculation system to fix a similar problem.

Indeed, last week I already downloaded the software before I installed it this weekend.

Now I updated, and... problem solved!
