Order created email

When I use an Google apps email account to send the order created emails to, the emails never get delivered.
If I change the email-address to another non-google adress the email does work.
Is this a known problem and if so is there an solution known?

Yes. You can't send an email to your own google account as the SMTP server of google does not allow that.
The only solution is to use another email address or another SMTP server.
