Product Descriptions not displaying on some items

Some products are not displaying the description in the front end of the site.
You can see the description is there in the backend.

if you start typing pavillion in the search bar, the search bar can see the description :dry:

I have checked color codes, tried different Text Editors but still the same result.
Other products show the description.
When i add new products the description appears.

Hikashop version = 1.5.8
Joomla = 2.5.6

Are you sure that you are editing the good product ? I ask it, because the price in the backend is not in the frontend.

I don't think that it come from a conflict with the template, because it's working on other articles, and the description class is not set to "display:none;".
In you web site we can see that the description is " ".

Which text editor are you using in the Backend ?

I have tried JCE and CKeditor and the standard Tiny MCE, it doesn't appear to make any difference.
There is only 1 pavilion product in the backend.

Its weird that 90% of products are displaying the description and a few are not.
There are no duplicate products.

If i email you backend access and FTP can you have a look please?

I think that the problem is that the variants of your product are out of synch with the characteristic.

Could you please try that:
1. Delete all the variants of the product on the listing of variants that you can access via the button "manage variants" on the product edition screen.
2. Delete the characteristics of the product.
3. Save the product.
4. Add the characteristics again.
5. The system will regenerate all the variants automatically and you should be able to see the dropdowns properly on the front end.

I am currently having the same issue, try out your theory but still does not work. If I remove the characteristics then the description comes back and after I save and add characteristics and then boom it disappeared again...

I have change the layout to default but still no description even if I delete characteristics.

Same thing happens, it appears without characteristics but gone if it does....

It must be something related to the way you setup the characteristics/variants.
