Hika Menu Item "Checkout"

The menu link type Checkout works fine when the customer has some product in the cart - if the link is clicked when no products are in the cart a 404 error is generated.

"Not Found
The requested URL /web/index.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

The address string being requested is: index.php?option=com_hikashop&view=category&layout=listing&Itemid=60

If the Checkout menu link is clicked with no product in the cart it should default to to the Cart is Empty message I think. Any fix for this please? (Using 1.44)

When the cart is empty, hikashop will redirect to the URL you specified in the option "URL where to redirect when the cart is empty" and display the error message "The cart is empty".
Did you set properly that option ?

As usual Nicolas you are exactly right - I moved the whole site to a new server and a different directory - and didn't think to change the settings for the vcart is empty URL.
