We don't have Characteristic at all!

Hi,
thanks to your useful help! We've almost finished our work, but suddenly finded out that not in the Hi 2.0, nor in the Hi 2.1 in the back-end we have not Characteristics possibilities at all!
We've thoroughly studied the documantation: www.hikashop.com/en/support/documentatio...html#characteristics but it did not help us because in the our product page we see all possibilities mentioned there, exept for Characteristics part.
We've tried to install Joomla 2.5 and Hi 2.0 - 2.1 on different PC (Windows XP both, Firefox) but with the same result.
