Uploading image is reloading page inside lightbox

I have just tried to upload an image and the products page is just loading inside the lightbox with the image itself not being uploaded, please find screen shot attached.

I think i might have tried an edtiable png rather than flattened which could have caused the problem as it seems ok with a jpg file
