Response from the paypal server was invalid was created by daveturner101
hi,
we recieved the email below after someone tried to pay via paypal for one of our products:
we've not had this happen before and nothing has changed in the last few days. we've been accepting paypal orders no problem and they have been being confirmed.
could this be a one off?
the documentation in the link above suggests that the hikashop paypal plugin may need to be updated. is this the case?
thanks

Hi,
As it is still working on our end and no one else reported such issue, the plugin itself is fine.
It's probably a one off yes.
If you have it again, turn on the debug mode of the paypal plugin and next time you have it, look at the traces in the payment log of the configuration and that will be information on what's going on with the notification process.

thanks for the reply.
will the debug mode show anything on the front end of the site to the customer or is it just for the admins with access to the back end?
thanks again.
