Manage variant doesn't create the variants anymore

Hi,
The button "manage variant" used to automaticaly generate all possible variant with my differents characteristics.
Now it seems that I have to create them all one by one !
Is it because of the new release or do I have a problem ? :S

It's probably because you turned off the "generate variants automatically" option of the HikaShop configuration.

I didn't know it was an option but unfortunately it's not my problem, this option is "on".

Now I know that is not a version problem but something deeper, any idea ?

It's not the button "manage variants" which generates the variants but it's the action of adding a characteristic to a product which will generate the variants for that new characteristic.
If you change the characteristic afterwards, the button "manage variants" won't create the "missing" variants for the new values you might add to the characteristic.

The new product edition system that we are including into HikaShop (from HikaMarket) should propose an easier way to manage variants in the HikaShop backend.
