Custom item field stop working

I have a shop where customer can choose size of the shoes with custom item field
It works on 2.6.4 but stop working after upgrade to 3.2.0

I believe that it is not a bug but something with customization but can understand where is the problem.

The shoe successfully added to the cart but without this field.

Hi,

Edit the custom field and make sure that the display settings are configured properly for it.
If that doesn't help, it comes either from customization of the checkout or customization of the add to cart button area.
So try switching the "add to cart legacy" and/or the "checkout legacy" settings to see if one of them help.
