Integrations from admin-side orders?

We're using Joomla 3.3.0, HS 2.3.1; Akeeba subs-HS Integration 1.0.0

The front-end integration is working. When a user purchases a subscription HS the subscription is activated in AS.

However, when an order is entered on the admin-side of HS the integration doesn't seem to be running. No subscription is created/activated in AS.

SHOULD this be working on the admin side? Or are the plugins limited to the front-end?

Our integration with Akeeba Subscriptions will add the subscriptions to Akeeba Subscriptions when an order status is changed to confirmed if it has products with subscriptions attached to it. But if you add a product with a subscription to an already confirmed order, it won't do anything. And same if your don't confirm the order, nothing will happen.

Hmm ... we're having new orders NOT initiate the plugin (i.e. confirmed orders on admin-side are NOT resulting in a new subscription for the user.)

Is there any specific place we should check to determine where the problem is?

ALSO: What if the user purchases online from front-end, using a 'pay later/check' option. When the order is confirmed on the admin-side should the plugin be triggered?

The plugin will be triggered if you confirm an order from the backend.
I don't see why that wouldn't work normally if it works when the order is confirmed on the frontend.
The only think I could think off would be that the order itself was created on the backend without the product referenced properly in the order.
