Condition Registration

Hello,
I want to use a condition that the user name is in certain ways :

1. A number of 8 digits + a letter ( eg 12345678X )
2. x, y or z + a number of 7 digits + a letter ( eg X1234567B )

Must be met or one or other status. If the username does not fulfill these conditions the user can not register .

I use a plugin that only works properly if I have not activated " Redirect to HikaShop registration Joomla Plugin " .

As could be done to also work with the plugin enabled .

If that plugin doesn't work when you go through the HikaShop registration form, it's the plugin code that should be modified, not HikaShop. Not knowing that plugin's code, I can't tell you, but the best would be that you contact the developer of that plugin.

This is the plugin that validates the user name. With "Redirect Joomla registration to HikaShop" activated, stops working.

There is a way to work with "Redirect Joomla registration to HikaShop" activated.

The developer Validator can not resolve this problem.

The way the plugin is made, it will be hard to have it support the HikaShop registration form.
It would require changing the whole javascript in it (around 150 lines of code) because it bases itself on the ids of the elements on the registration form, but HikaShop and Joomla uses different ids for them (so that the CSS of templates made for the registration form of Joomla doesn't break the fields of the registration form of HikaShop).
It's not impossible to modify it to have it also support HikaShop, but it would require a lot of work.
