Can we marry HikaShop to Uikit (YooTheme) please!

The project is moving along. I have it partly sponsored by a client, but I'm also investing a lot of time into this.

It's also something I've needed for a long time - I was just hoping someone else would do it as it's quite a complex undertaking

I think Yootheme is the future of Joomla in so many levels.

The preview looks good. It's about time that someone takes care of the look and feel of Hikashop. Yootheme Pro and Hikashop are great and powerful extensions. I think if these two work well together it would be a fantastic symbiosis of the two. The look and feel of Hikashop has not evolved over many years and is becoming a real knockout criteria. I am glad that someone has taken on the project, I fear that otherwise HIKA Shop will not exist for long. This would be a real pity for the actually good shopping component for Joomla.

Was this integration ever finished? If so I would be very interested in purchasing access to it. If it isn't finished, where is the development at? I would love to have this sort of integration for HikaShop and YooTheme and would be happy to help if I can.

I have a follow-up question regarding YOOtheme Pro. I was told by Gemini AI that HikaShop and YOOtheme Pro can work together using the 'Essentials' addon from ZOOlanders ( www.zoolanders.com/ ).

However, I cannot find any mention of HikaShop on their website or in their current documentation.

Has this integration project been cancelled? If so, is there an official HikaShop alternative (or a native plugin) to use HikaShop products as a Dynamic Content source within the YOOtheme Pro Builder?

I thought it would be good to reply here so that people searching for similar information would know about what is now available.

First, in HikaShop 6.0.0 we've added display options to the HikaShop configuration to be able to easily have HikaShop forms and buttons on the frontend use the UIKit classes :

So, it is now much easier to have HikaShop interfaces use UIKit styles on the frontend.

Also, JPro Studio released 3 months ago an integration between HikaShop and YooTheme here:
jpro.studio/product/hsuikit-core-hikashop-yootheme-source
This is probably something you want to look into if you're using HikaShop and YooTheme.

For my future projects, I won't hesitate to choose HikaShop. I'm so used to working with UIkit and the YOOtheme Page Builder that it feels like the natural choice now.
