MailChimp Plugin does not work when consent field active

-- Joomla version -- : 5.4.2
-- PHP version -- : 8

I installed the MailChimp plugin successfully.
When I use it without consent (subscribe automatically) it works perfectly.
As soon as I add a consent field it does not work. I must be configuring it wrong.
Adding the custom field seemed to go very smoothly.
Please see the screenshot for my configuration of the consent field and the plugin.

Hi,

In the "Consent required field" you need to enter the value you wish to count as valid for the consent.
In your custom field, you have entered the value "You may unsub...." so that's the value you need to enter in the "Consent required field" setting. Any other value will count as "no consent given".
I would recommend you leave "1" in the "Consent required field" setting and that you change the text under the "Value" column of your custom field to "1".
