I have found HikaShop to be a fantastic e-commerce system. It is lacking just one thing, and it is a major issue. It does not tie into FedEx, UPS, USPPS, etc and allow the shop owner the ability to pick which shipping services to use and then allow the client to pick how they want the packages shipped...and what the charge will be. Then be able to track their shipment.

I have been working in e-commerce for over 10 years, and this is needed. Even Zen Cart and OS-Commerce has this. PLEASEEEEE add this ability as soon as possible to the best E-Commerce system out there.

We hear you. It's already in the todo list. These plugins are big and will require that we spend some time to properly develop them. We started looking at UPS but it's been 2 weeks since we started the process to get a test account and UPS seems kinda slow on that end...

Can you please also consider including DHL as a choice in Hikashop? We have an Italian based shop and ship throughout Europe and we use DHL more than UPS or FEDEX.

DHL and DPD are very common in Germany, so it would be really nice to have a DHL and a DPD shipping plugin!

Another One who needs this plugin.
Come on guys, DHL is the biggest european carrier and you're not able to develop a plugin since almost 4 years now. This has to be a standard extension in an e-commerce software, especially if developed in europe.

Hi guys,

we develop two shops by hikashop for german and greek vendors. Therefor it would be very nice to have dhl-shipping possibility, because dhl is the biggest player in europe now and many enterprises use they.
Is there any information about the timeline?

PS: We tested several shop-systems for joomla and Hikashop is the best and would be even better with more shipping plugins.... :-)

Hello,

one more vote for DPD and DHL, they're both big international players not only in Germany but throughout Europe.
Is there a timescale for adding these to Hikashop? or are there any alternative plugins we can download, I did some search but no success.

I have a really good news on that topic.
I'm actually at the J&Beyond conference in Barcelona this weekend and talked with Valérie from Alatak.net
She wants to develop these shipping plugins for HikaShop and sell them to everyone, like she does for the plugins she developed from VirtueMart.
So I would recommend to contact her through this contact form:

The more voices for a shipping plugin and the fastest she'll develop it :)
