-- HikaShop version -- : 2.5.x
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.4
-- PHP version -- : 5.5.x
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : no error

Hello,

We are developing a site with a hikashop in it. On the site we have a category/product layout with 3 columns, when making the site responsive for mobile (phone/tablet etc.) we need to set it on the bootstrap, but then the normal site doesn't show the columns correctly anymore.
So how can we set it so that the shop goes on bootstrap only when people are looking at it via a mobile device.

Hi,

You potentially have an issue due to a css rule interacting with one of ours.
Did you look at the page with the console of your browser to see if there is not a width forced by you template or something like that ?

Enabling the bootstrap only when people are looking at the site via a mobile device will be a bit more difficult.

Hi,
if i understand correctly, with bootstrap on, a width in our template could cause the issue that our 3 column page is gone? in desktop version? On mobile with bootstrap the products are aligned neatly under each other.
I don not understand exactly what to look for in the css of my template? is it the width of the page?

we are developing on www.01.uw-hiow-concept.nl i have attached 2 images, one is without bootstrap and one with bootstrap on desktop.
When bootstrap state on Yes we get the 1 column.
What i discovered is, that when enabling bootstrap the columns are put in a <li> tag on desktop, that is i think why we get the 1 column.
how can we adjust this so it will for mobile dvices ok but for desktop devices it shouldn't

Hello,
In your case the best solution will just be to directly re-adapt the code of your CSS file : www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/1...ize-the-display.html

If you really can't do it, giving us more information about your issue and what you want through some screenshots for example will help us to understand and solve it.

Thanks for the help!
We found the way to make our artisteer template compatible with bootstrap, and the issue with the columns are gone.
It was a puzzle but thanks for the help and directions.
If u want to know how we did it, please reply an email, we will give the code.

Hi,

I'll let HIOW_HIKA reply on how he modified artisteer ; but I can tell that HikaShop 3 will include a responsive grid layout.
So the next HikaShop (major release) will be able to "be responsive" even if the template is not.

I have the same issue with an artisteer template where the items show in one column when I select bootstrap. Would you please be so kind to send me the solution for this issue.

I found an solution in the artisteer forum. www.artisteer.com/?post_id=243550&p=forum_post
It looks like this works for me. Is this a proper solution?
