Is there a possibility to give the category picture an alt text.
There is always a missing ALT text in the SEO check.
And is planned to allow input in one of the next versions?

Actually, the main blocking thing for that capability was that the interface had not been moved to the new upload system we added back in HikaShop to the product edition page. And we've added that new interface with a recent version of HikaShop:

So now that we have that, it should be quite easy to add that capability like we did on the product edition interface.
In fact it's high on our todo list now.
