Product Duplication

I have Hikashop starter edition running on Joomla 2.5. My questions are as such:

Can you easily copy and paste/duplicate a product in this version of Hikashop. If not what does the "copy" button do at the top of the page when viewing products?

If I need to upgrade my account to a higher version to be able to duplicate products, how will I duplicate products at that point, and, how should I go about upgrading the account? I have many products on the site already and do not want to lose anything that is there.

The copy button is for product duplication. Simply select the products you want to duplicate and click on "copy" and you will see that it creates duplicates.

By the way: you don't loose any data or setting when upgrading. Simply install the new package via the joomla installer like a new install and it will do its magic automatically.
