I have categories like:
boeken (books)
subcategories like:
Verschillende

What we like is that in the menu on the left side there is "Boeken"
but not clickable so you don't go into the screen with the categories view.
so only the subcategories in the front end have to be clickable and not the main categories.

how do I do this?

Edit your module (id 260) via the menu Display->Content modules and turn off the option "link on main categories" there and that should do it.
