How to disable invalid combinations of variants?

How to disable invalid combinations of variants on Frontend page?

We have set of ADK products (Application Developer Kit) -- libraries for different languages/IDEs. For example,
* Valentina COM - library for COM Technology, Windows only
* Valentina for PHP - library for PHP, Win + Mac + Linux
and so on.

In the shop, we have menu:
Operating System (OS) with choices Mac / Win / Linux

and menu with list of ADKs:
You can see on picture.

Problem is that some ADKs, as e.g. Valentina for COM, exists only for Windows.
But other ADKs exists for 3 OS.

So when user choose Valentina for COM, menu with OS should have only Windows option.

How and where this can be tuned in HikaShop?

2) also it is obvious that menu with ADK list, should go before the OS menu.

Hi,

1. To restrict, you can simply edit the variants via the product edition page in backend and unpublish the not desired combinations. So the values will still be displayed in the dropdowns but a text will appear explaining that there is no stock for the unpublished variants.
If you want to remove the choices from the dropdown it will require the edition of core files.

2. In the product edition page, just change the order of the characteristics.
