Cant link variant to specified location.

-- HikaShop version -- : HikaShop Essential: 2.6.4
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.5
-- PHP version -- : 5.6.27
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox Latest
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : File Does not exhists

I recently upgraded HS to 2.6.4.
When I create a new product and add the file path to the variants I get the error message that the file is not found (I've triple checked the path and name).
These are large files that we upload via filezilla.
Always worked before the upgrade-
Any Ideas?

So three things to check:
1. Make sure that you have media/com_hikashop/upload/safe/ in the File upload secure setting of the HikaShop configuration.
2. Make sure that you only enter Great_Shot_Part_5B_Kinetic_Chain_HDq.mp4 and not media/com_hikashop/upload/safe/Great_Shot_Part_5B_Kinetic_Chain_HDq.mp4 in the "File path" setting of the popup.
3. Make sure that the file extension "mp4" is in the list of valid file extensions in the HikaShop configuration.
