Generation of multiple thumbnails

Hello

when I'm uploading pictures in the product page only one thumbnail is generated....sometimes even no thumbnail is generated.
Also the images are not deleted, when deleted from the product page.

I need to generate thumbnails from every picture...

Hi,

The thumbnails are only generated when needed. When you upload an image, HikaShop will automatically generate a first thumbnail for the display of that image in the backend.
Then, when someone displays a listing on the frontend with that image on it, it might need another thumbnail (if the size needed is different) and in that case, it will create another thumbnail, etc.

But how to force a generation of thumbnails for every picture when generating a product in the backend, without visiting the frontend...??

Or how to force thumbnail generation for every picture when visiting the frontend? I only see the first uploaded image in the listing views.

Setting the "Thumbnail" option to YES via "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Main" should do the job.

When you upload an image in the backend, HikaShop will generate a thumbnail for the display of the image on the product edition form.
But that's all. There is no system to generate all the different thumbnails that will be necessary at the different places of the frontend, the invoices, the emails, etc. That would require development work.
