Cannot get a proper error message when password is too short.
Appreciate any help & input.

Hi.
This means that the password used for registration is too short.
In User - Options - Password Options you can change the minimum number of characters for a password to be valid.
If you want to change the text you can modify the variable in language modifications. If you do not find the variable you can create a new one by copying it from the error that appears.

Thank you for your feedback. Joomla 4 changed the translation keys for the password rules
So I've made a patch to switch between the translation keys between Joomla 3 and Joomla 4 so that it displays properly regardless of the version of Joomla.
Download again the install package of the 4.6.2 and install it on your website and you'll get the patch for that.
