Users password are not being registred in Joomla

-- Joomla version -- : 3.2

Hi all

I have a peculiar problem regarding user registration!

Everything works up until the customer have pressed the activation link in his e-mail!

After that my webpage sais that the username and password don't match!

And if I go the backend and check User Manger I can see that the entered password is not registred in the backend!

What could be the problem???

I should add that in the activation e-mail both username and password is entered correctly, its just that its not being transferred to the backend!

So when I go look at the backend I can se the username and that it ahs been enabled and activated.

Hope anyone can help me!

hello i also have that problem ... and i can see the users in hikashop backend ... also in user maneger i see that the user is activated but when i try to login with that user - not possible at all ...
just with admin details it works good .

if you find somthing pleas let me know ... i stuck on that for hours..

last massge their ritten to change the password to strongly typed... how we can do that ?

i just use joomla 3.2.0 and hika shop 2.2.2
and want the users can login with their user name and password ...
No matter with which user I try to connect nothing succeeds
Even using no spaces or symbols in the user name.
Also a matter of Password Reset / Forgot your password or username whole process works until you have to enter a user name.

hello i digging on that in google and that is a very big problem in joomla core ... but can fix that very fast :

pleas do that : (that is for the login faild)-
in -> plugins/user/joomla/joomla.php

Remove: if ($userPluginParams->get('strong_passwords') == 1)
and replace with: if ($userPluginParams->get('strong_passwords', 1) == 1)

this is for the reset pass and etc : (didnt check that yet)
