I am interested in Bussines version of HikaShop, but I have some doubts:
My web sell digital products.
HikaShop is prepared to sell digital products?
HikaShop has secured file download directory, to protect me from unauthorized downloads?
HikaShop is compatible with download accelerators?
HikaShop limit file downloads by number of downloads?
HikaShop allows a secure area on the website for each client to download the digital products that customer have purchased?
HikaShop save the number of times a client has downloaded a particular file?
Does that digital products remain in this secure zone for a certain time? one month, 2 months, 3 months ....
With HikaShop can be given access to certain areas of the web? eg the forum (kunena) , a specific blog, category, article, etc..
Hikashop allow incorporating new downloads to the customer secure zone? , For example, product upgrades, new products, etc..
That is, customers can come back to your site later to download future versions of the purchased documents. Of course, you can limit this download by time or by number of downloads.
HikaShop, automatically check the VAT number (EUR zone) for calculating taxes?
HikaShop supports any commercial template without modification?

HikaShop share user access (ACL) to other areas of joomla?
That is, the user has access to the forum, shopping cart , etc ...

If the answer is that HikaShop is not ready for sell digital products.

- Using the plugin "user group after purchase" you can do it
- If I understand right what you want to do : yes

- We have some commercial template compatible with HikaShop, like the JSN Glass, or some other (please check our documentation)

HikaShop use the Joomla ACL system, so if the other component use it too, you can do the integration.

We do not have a Piwik integration.

We have an integration with AkeebaSubscription.
Piwik is not integrated into HikaShop, our TODO list is too huge to be able to integrate all requests in few weeks.

Has any progress been made to build a Hikashop plugin for Piwik? This would be a great addition to the Hikashop benefits and should be a good moneymaker.

I just found a virtuemart piwik plug-in. An individual joomla plug-in .
I want to modify it for Hikashop ,.
Any suggesstion or tip ??

Hi,

Well, the main thing to change is to replace the function plgVmOnUpdateOrderPayment by the trigger onAfterOrderUpdate of HikaShop and to modify the code with HikaShop (to get the order data) in that function and in the function trackEcommerceOrder.
That way, that will send the HikaShop orders to piwik.
