connection between joomla-users and hikashop-users

Hi there,
i have got some general questions about the user-handling...

I just realized, that the new hikashop-users also get an own joomla-user.account.
1) The problem is, that the new hikashop-users cannot login, because the joomla-account is not activated automatically. Which settings are wrong?
2) Which joomla-user-group should the hikashop-users get? where can I set this?
3) And is it really necessary that hikashop-users get s an joomla-user-account on that site?

Where can i find general infos about hikashops user-handling?

Hi,

Note that Hikashop use Joomla users, that's why when you create an "Hikashop user" it also create a Joomla one.
1. You'll be able to control it through "Control panel->Global configuration->system->'New User Account Activation'"
2. You'll be able to control it by using for example the "User group after purchase" option through your product configuration page

do you mean at 1) joomla->users->options-> and here "allow user registration" ans "new User Account Activuation - "self"?

2) Sorry I don't find this setting... where is that? And what setting would you suggest? Now it new Users get the group "registered..

1. Yes in Joomla > users > options. You can set the activation to "none" to be directly registered or "self" to receive a confirmation link in an email.

2. The hikashop users can be only Joomla registered users as it's configured by default.
