State field and Address 2

Hello

Is the default state set to Aberdeenshire? WE have noticed that some customers address have Aberdeenshire as the State but their actual address in a different part of the world.

If the State field is not changed, does it default to Aberdeenshire? Is there a way to prevent this as it means ovesea's customers are not being charged the correct postage.

We have also noticed that Address 2 does not appear on the invoices. How can we display it?

Hi,

The default state/country can be configured by editing the corresponding fields' default value via the menu Display>Custom fields.
The state dropdown is updated automatically with the states of the country when the customer changes the country selected.

To display the address 2 text on invoices, you need to edit the address_template view files for your frontend and backend template via the menu Display>views and add the {address_street2} tag in there where you want.
