Email all customer who own a product

Hello Hikashop,
I am currently testing Hikshop out for my download only webshop. So far I really like it.

I do have a question regarding downloadable products.:
I sometimes need to update the downloadable files for a product. Once this is done I would like to notify the users who bought this product, via email. Is there functionality in Hikashop that provides this functionality or would this require a custom plugin?

Hello Jorn,
There is no option to exactly do that, so the solution will probably be to develop a custom plugin which will send an email for each customer which had purchased the product which have the ID : "Your Product ID".
