Manage Your Addresses/Edit Address not in popup

Hi,
I need to change the address editions in the Customer Control Panel/Manage Your Addresses/Edit to be edited in the page instead of in a popup.
I notice in that view has an if(False){ echo $this->loadTemplate();
But I didn't really find that option in the administrator.

How can I get the address edition to appear on page instead of in the modal window?

You can change these settings in Configuration > Checkout > Shipping & Payment, option "Address selector".

But will that 'Checkout' settings affect the 'Manager your addresses as well?

In Configuration > Checkout > Shipping & Payment, option "Address selector I have it set to list, which works correctly in the checkout. But the 'Manage your Addresses' page it still tries to load the edit in the modal window.

Also in the 'Manage your addresses' page there is an error 'TypeError: el_show is null'
Can you please confirm?

Yes indeed we don't have ported the changes on that view for the moment, but it is on our todo list.

If the popups do not open, it's either your template which doesn't support Joomla 3 popups (and in that case, you can change the "popup mode" setting of the HikaShop configuration to "mootools" to circumvent the issue of your template), or because of a javascript error preventing the javascript of the popups from being initialized ('TypeError: el_show is null' is not something in HikaShop but from something else on your website and since you didn't provide any link to the page nor a user account to access it, we can't analyze it to tell you from where it's coming or if a potential fix is possible).

The solution that Xavier provided was only for the checkout as the address selector system has not been ported to the address edition but that is just a way of circumventing the problem with the popup. The problem is not in HikaShop and the address edition popup of the user manager are working just fine for everyone else which is why we are no rushing this portage.

I don't think I have a problem with the modal popup.
When I click the edit pencil, the faded black back-drop appears, just fine. I see the modal is also on the page (hidden) but the modal body is empty.

As you can see in our demo website, popups with bootstrap are working fine, when you have a template compatible Bootstrap 2.

Your template is using bootstrap 3 ; that's why the javascript code which should be triggered when the popup is open, is not called (like the rest of the javascript which is made for bootstrap 2)
