user custom field table - Display limited to was created by hexcodc
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.8
-- PHP version -- : 5.5.30

Hi,

I have updated the version to 2.6.1 but it still doesn't solve the "display limited to" feature in the user table, the data field supposed to be hidden is visible no matter the action and the value input is. However,it works in the product table.

It works fine on our end. Could you provide a link to the page with the issue and a screenshot of the settings of the two custom fields yo'ure using for your test ?

Also, where are these custom fields displayed in the front end?

Hi,

Are you talking about the backend ? Yes, the display limited to is not used on the backend.
It's used on the user registration form on the frontend only for the custom user fields (that's where they are useful).

Hi,

Let me rephrase: the display limited to is not used on the backend for custom user fields.
So it's normal that it works for product custom fields and not user custom fields as that's how it's made.

ok thank you, is it difficult to modifiy it so that the user custom field works the same as the product? Also it seems that the display limited to of the product custom field does not work for the variants.

Hi,

1. It's possible yes. It's just a few lines of code.

2. Thank you for the feedback on the variants. It's definitely not normal.

I've added a few patches for all that. Download the install package on our website and install it on yours and that will add the patches and make all that work.

Hi,

There are 6 files with several modifications in each. That's why I didn't gave them as it would be a whole mess.
As I said, the modifications are included in the package on our website. Your can download it via the menu My account>My subscriptions and install it on your website. That will replace the files and you'll get the modifications automatically.
