Customer address details captured into user_profiles, not hikashop_address

Since the latest update, new customer registrations are having their address information put into user_profiles, not hikashop_address. Hikashop does not use user_profiles to fill address information, complicating checkout for users. Is this a known bug (that I haven't seen mentioned) or is there somewhere else I can look?

I cannot confirm such bug on our end with the latest version of Joomla and HikaShop.
This indicates that you must have the Redirect Joomla registration to HikaShop plugin disabled in the Joomla plugins manager.
Activate it back so that users trying to access the Joomla registration form will be directed instead to HikaShop's registration form where the address will go in the HikaShop address table.
