After login customer is redirected to homepage

Hi,

After a customer is logged in the user is redirected to the home page where at the end of the homepage the account details are displayed.
This is only happening when there is no order yet.

For the customer this is very confusing because the think that they are not logged in and they were “thrown out” of the webshop.

Is there an option that the customer stay in the webshop instead of being redirected to the homepage, or that the account details are displayed on a account page instead of totally at the end of the homepage?

Hello Simone,

The solution will probably be to use the "Force a menu on the checkout" option via "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Checkout" which will enable you to control which menu to display in that kind of situation.
