Checking the VAT number

Hello,
Is there any add-on besides the built-in one that would check the customer base by VAT number locally? For example in Poland? It turns out that not all VAT payers are in the European base?

I don't know of such plugin. But before talking about such plugin, is it actually possible to check the VAT number locally ? Is there an API provided by the Polish administration like there is for the Europe wide system ?
What you can do is changed the check to only "format check". That way it will verify that the VAT number looks like a valid VAT number and in that case it will allow numbers that are enabled only for Poland and aren't in the vies database.

Yes, there is a Polish API. Unfortunately, the current solution, despite the correct VAT number, shows that it cannot verify the payer. Probably the problem is with the data source. As I found out, work is underway on an add-on that will do it properly
