Fake users registration

Hello,
since I upgraded the site to J4 I'm noticing a lot of fake user registrations.
I still have the Hikashop recaptcha plugin for registration but it doesn't seem to work as well as before.
As the registration requires the email check, none of them are activated.
Has anything changed? Should I update the plugin as well?

Hi,

If you have an old version of the plugin, I recommend you updating it for Joomla 4 and PHP8 support as we've published several updates to it since one year ago for these.
