City dropdown in address

how can i have a cities dropdown for address , which i can create cities for every state that loads in a dropdown by selecting each state ?
i tried to do it with shipping zones but all zones are loading in the dropdown,

There is no mechanism for this.

If you want to help your customers enter their address I would recommend the Google auto fill plugin:

It will not only allow them to enter easily their city, it will also help for the street, the state and the country. It can even request geolocation data from the browser of the customer to help with filling the address.

this is a big loss for hikashop ....
i wanted to set different shipping methods based on the city ... you mean it is not possible ?!!

You could also change the city custom field to a dropdown. But shipping methods can't be restricted based on the city field anyways, so even if we were to develop a mechanism for the city selector to refresh based on the country / state selected and have city zones in HikaShop, it would also require the zone restriction of shipping methods to support that extra field, which isn't the case.
So, basically, doing this would require a lot of work on our end.

You could use the post code instead of the city name. Shipping methods can be restricted based on the post code and usually cities and post codes can be used to restrict to the same areas.
