Hi,
We are using HikaShop Business 6.5.0 and would like to create a reliable accounting report showing the following totals for a selected period:
- Gross sales (including VAT)
- Net sales (excluding VAT)
- VAT amount
We configured a report using the "Table" display type with three rows: Sales including VAT, Sales excluding VAT, and Taxes.
However, the calculated totals do not match the actual order data.
For October 2026, we get the following results:
| Amount | HikaShop Report | Actual Order Data |
| Gross | €51,360.10 | €51,360.10 |
| Net | €40,536.81 | €43,159.75 |
| VAT | €10,823.29 | €8,200.35 |
We verified the actual VAT amount using the order CSV export and the HikaShop tax management overview.
It appears that the report calculates VAT before deducting coupons and discounts, while the gross sales amount correctly reflects these deductions.
Our questions:
- Is there a way to configure HikaShop reports so that gross, net, and VAT totals are calculated correctly after coupons and discounts?
- Is this a known issue in HikaShop Business 6.5.0?
- Is there an existing HikaShop feature or extension that provides a consolidated accounting report with all three totals?
- Can such a report be displayed directly in the HikaShop backend with date range and order status filters?
We would prefer a solution using standard HikaShop functionality, without custom PHP modifications to our production website.
Thank you for your assistance!
