Hi,
We want to sell files but but in the order confirmation email the download link doesn't work.( error 403)
The link is 'index.php/en/?option=com_hikashop&ctrl=order&task=download&file_id=38&order_id=263&Itemid=606' .
The problem seem to be '&Itemid=606' because when I remove it in the browser url, the download work.
I tried to remove it in the Order status notification email in the Preload version but it is added back.

Can you tell me how to solve this problem?

Hi,

This indicates that the Itemid of the payment notification URL of your payment gateway is 606 which is not a valid one.
It could be that you set the notification URL of the payment gateway with that itemid in the options of your payment gateway or it could be that you have to select a hikashop checkout type menu item in the "force a menu on checkout" option of the HikaShop configuration.
So I would recommend to check these on your website.

I have the same problem and that was just after updating to the last version of HikaShop. I'm trying to do what Nicolas described but I don't get it. Can you be a bit more specific please? Or if anyone else could solve the problem, share the solution, me and some others would be very thankful

To be more specific I would need more information from you. What payment method are you using on your website ?
Could you provide a screenshot of the options of that payment method (you can hide the sensitive data on the image) ?
Can you give an example of a download link which doesn't work ?

Yes, here it is:

The order is Nº Q3N34

The mail contains the following link:
/index.php?option=com_hikashop&ctrl=order&task=download&file_id=66&order_id=334&Itemid=285

Then the user logges in and then a blank page.

And if the user logges in and try to download from the user orders in the frontpage, appears the following link:
/order/download/file_id-66/order_id-334

If you got a full blank page, it can be a php fatal error.
Please check your PHP error log in order to check that.

Well, in your PHP error log ; it's related to your web hosting, not to HikaShop or Joomla.
Otherwise you can change the "error reporting level" to "maxium" in your Joomla global configuration (tab "server"), it should display the errors in the page instead of log them in the log file.
