How to CC or BCC Hikashop emails to customers

-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.6

My site is hosted and some of my customers complain they do not get my HS auto emails (like order creation or update). How can I configure HS to CC or BCC these emails to one of my email accounts? I've found some PHP hacks but they look a bit scary. This sounds like a fairly obvious/easy feature? Any suggestions?

Hi,

You can edit the emails via the menu System>Emails and add such line of code at the end of the emails and it should work:
<?php $mail->bcc_email = 'myemail@mywebsite.com'; ?>

Next version of HikaShop will have a new field in the email edition page in order to be able to easily add the email address for the bcc.

I'll give the PHP addition a try, but like most folk would prefer the functionality included in the core product, so that's great news. Do you have a rough ETA for the new version?

gret thanks, i was looking for an overall BCC in configuration, never thought of looking for it inside the email templates. but makes sense though!
