Pre-Orders

Is it possible to take "pre-orders"?

My client would like to offer 2 options...

1) pay for the CD and shipping and have the CD shipped after October 17th
or
2) pay for the CD and NOT be charged for shipping and have it autographed and ready for pick up at the party?

Let me know if this is an option in hikashop already or if there's a separate hikashop plugin I can install that will do this...

Hi,

In that case, I think the best will be to create a characteristic and have two variants for your product.
The first variant will have a weight (so will require a shipping) and the second won't have any weight.
Each variant can have his own stock (also his own price), etc.
