Order History Showing Odd Customers name

Hi,

I'm having the issue where in the "History" section of the order the customers name is being inserted as modifying the Order status?

What could be causing this please?

Hi,

It's probably because the payment plugin changes the status of the order when the customer is being redirected back to the website, and thus during that process, it's the user which is logged in when the order status is being changed by the plugin. It doesn't mean that it is the user himself that changed the status. So nothing to worry about that.

Hi thanks for your reply. This issue however, is not during payment. Orders can be weeks old and use the bank transfer payment or paypal etc gateway but history will still use a random customers name as the person who updated the history?

Then, if it's you changing the status of the order in the backend, you should see your user name there.
If you don't, it's possible that there is some kind of discrepency between your HikaShop user id and Joomla user id and the ones of that other user.
Is it always another name displayed there ? Or is it always the same one ?
