Get error 404 when submitting order status change

When i want to change the status of an order, i get a pop up windows. I click on "OK" and get a 404 page

I don't see why that would happen since there is no SEF in the backend of Joomla.
Did you modify the .htaccess of your website ? That might be linked to that.

Otherwise, I'm not sure what it could be. Note that you can also change the status of an order when you open it.
But if you still have the issue and it doesn't come from your htaccess, we would have to look at your backend in order to have a closer look at that.

No change was made to .htaccess
Changing the status in the opened order works.
But i still wonder why this message occurs.
