Downloadable order statuses

Hi,

Currently when a customer purchases a downloadable product from our site and for example pays with paypal, the order in the backend shows as confirmed. Is there any way to make this automatically change to completed once the customer downloads the item.

The reason I want to do this is that we also sell real items and have to keep looking at every order to find which we have to post items for and which we do not. If the downloadable automatically show as complete once downloaded it is alot easier to filter the orders and save us time

There is no such feature in HikaShop but it is possible to implement it via a custom plugin.

(and there is also a trigger "onAfterDownloadFile")

Many thanks for the response, can you point me in the direction on any documentation of how to create a plugin as this is not something I have ever attempted.

Hello,

HikaShop is a Joomla component ; so the plugins are Joomla plugin (but HikaShop have its own triggers as you can see in the previous documentation link I gave you).
