Update of stock after confirmed payment

Hi,

At the moment the order number is created when people create the order and stock number is updated even though they may not pay for their item (through PayPal).

Is there any way to automatically update the stock only after we receive the payment?

At the moment "Allow payment notifications from PayPal" is "YES". and "Update the product stock on confirmed status" is "NO" under configuration.

Our client is unhappy because she has received numerous orders but the payments haven't hit her PayPal account after two days of purchase.

Activate the setting "Update the product stock on confirmed status" setting and the stock will only be updated when the order is confirmed, after the payment.

Thank you for your reply. I understand how stock will be updated when the order is confirmed.
But how can we make order status to be automatically updated from created to confirmed?
Activating "Allow payment notifications from PayPal" in Paypal payment plugin doesn't affect updating order status.
Do we have to manually change the status one by one? Is there any way to automatically update the order status after we receive the payment?

Hi,

By default, when you install HikaShop, orders should already be confirmed automatically.
If that doesn't happen, then there is a problem with some setting like the "Allow payment notifications from PayPal" setting.
