Stock doesn't work on items with variations

Hi!

I have a lot of items with multiple variations and I've set the stock of each variation. But stock is not updated. What goes wrong?

I've set update stock on confirmation.

- your order status is set to "confirmed"
- the stock is updated through the main product stock or its variant

You can check it through the "quantity" option of your product configuration page.

In all variations the quantity field has a value. In the main product configuration the quantity gets the value unlimited on safe. But when I fill in a number that field doen't update either.

The quantity of the main product will update at the same time the quantity of the variant will update.
So the problem is probably that there is something missing in your tests.
For example, you have the "Update the product stock on confirmed status" setting in the HikaShop configuration.
If you have that option activated, then the stock will only be updated for the variant and the main product when the order status is changed from "created" to "confirmed" after the payment notification is received.
Also, the system bases itself on the settings in the menu System>Order statuses so if you changed things there it could prevent the stock update from being run.

we have a similar problem, the variant stock level is set through sagepay but is not showing up on the variant, any help greatly appreciated

How is the stock set by sagepay ?
Are you talking about the stock not showing in the variant on the backend ? Or on the product page on the frontend ?
Could you provide some screenshots of the situation ?
