Orders menu back end disappearing after update of Hikashop to 4.0

Hi guys,

We recently updated hikashop version to 4.0 and joomla to latest version.

However, it appears that the orders menu under Hikashop is gone.
Is there a way to restore it back again?

I suppose that you're talking about the orders menu in the backend right ?
Are you talking about the menu item in the main menu of the Joomla backend, which is a submenu of the HikaShop menu item ?
Or the menu item of the menu bar of HikaShop next to the System, Customers, Products, Documentation menu items ?
Could you maybe do a screenshot ?
Also, if it's the Joomla menu, it's probably an issue with the menu item data in Joomla. In that case, you can try the "rebuild" button of the Joomla menu manager. That oftn helps in those cases.

I also tried rebuild button in menu options however that seem doesn't solve the issue. Kindly appreciate your assistance

Your issue is probably coming from the fact that you eventually had business version on your website and used the back-end ACL feature.
The solution will probably be to :
- Go to your PhpMyAdmin, and edit the "#__hikashop_config" table
- Find the row with a "config_namekey" set to "acl_order_view"
- Change the value of its "config_value" to "all"
