Negative ordertotal after certificate use

Hi,

After a client used a gift certificate (from Hikaserial), the shown total order is negative when the certificate value is > order value. Before Hikashop 4.0 the amount was set to 0, but now it displays the negative amount. It would be more logical when the orderamount would be substracted from the giftcertificate and the remaining balance would be stored in the certificatecode so the client could use this a next time.

We were unable to reproduce your issue on our side, so in order to progress on the subject.
Can you provide more details in order to better get the root issue, like :
- Your gift certificate configuration screenshot
- Can you precise details cost and fee in your your order, like if you have some shipping fee, taxes fee etc...

Sorry, I made a mistake. The coupons are getting a VAT added, wich they did not before (a € 40,00 certificate was given a € 48,50 value due to added taxes). I will change the tax option in the coupons.

It is not possible with coupons.

You have to use "points" if you want to allow such kind of thing.
