Hi,
I have setup a product customfield "garantie2"
And added a dutch and French translation
Added the line to the Email
But the email keeps sending this line in Dutch only and not in French, Even when the rest of the mail is sent in French.
Can you see what i'm missing?
Kind regards,
Jeroen

Hi,
There is nothing missing. It's just that what you're trying to do is not supported.
The template mechanism will directly display the data from the database. So it's not a translation problem. It's even before that. The system displays the text from the "value" column, not the text from the "title" column.
However, there is a solution. Instead of trying to manually display it, which would require more complex PHP modifications to the preload and then the use of a custom tag in the HTML, you could simply activate the email display settings of the custom field and it will display it automatically in there, properly taking into account the language.
